TRL is going to be Gone Baby Gone…
TRL, which has been the flagship show for MTV since 1998 is going to retire this November. According to MTV, the show has had its time to shine and it is now ready to retire.
Through the shows tenure, it has had many host including: Carson Daly, Dave Holmes, La La Vasquez, Quddus, and Hillarie Burton. All of these stars have moved on to other entertainment endeavors. The show is currently hosted by Damien Fahey and Lyndsey Rodrigues and will be until its end in November.
Twelve artist have had the honor of having four or more of their videos retired on MTV including: Limp Bizkit, Britney Spears, N’Sync, Backstreet Boys, Eminem, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Fall Out Boy, Good Charlotte, Mariah Carey, Korn, and Kelly Clarkson.
Offical off air date will be announced in October, and further information about the shows last week will be given at this time as well.
